After we'd climbed down from Nourlangie Rock (which Ella insisted on doing with only minimal help for the parts she decided were "a bit tricky") we set off along a track to Anbangbang Billabong (try saying that with a gob full of jelly babies).
"Where we going?" she asked
"To a billabong" I replied, which set her off singing Waltzing Matilda as she tramped along the track in her fly net.
"Once a jolly swagman camped beside a billabong
Under the shade of a coolibah tree
And he sang as he watched and he waited for his billy boil
You'll come a waltzing Matilda with me"
When we reached the water, the view was lovely, lots of wading birds hanging about the shore and picking up their lunch.
And in case you've forgotten, the only place you can swim in the whole of Kakadu NP is in the community pool in Jabiru. The sign's the same in any language.

The second part of the sign is a bit redundant methinks
