Tolmer Falls

The thing about touring all these plunge pools is it's not really worth changing out of your swimming stuff because the faff involved in peeling it off and on again (not to mention the discomfort of putting on a cold wet cozzie) outweighs the discomfort of sitting in wet clothes.

So we set off wet-ish to Tolmer Falls, where you can't actually descend to the water because of a protected colony of ghost-bats living in the caves you can see at the bottom of the cliffs. I had an idea we'd get the picnic out here but Ella was flat out after all that splashing at Florence Falls so Darren and I ate our butties with a delightful view of the public toilet (which didn't have a sink) before setting off further down the track.
