Wednesday 19th September
We were away from Sydney by 10am, thanks to our now highly-co-ordinated rapid response packing (also known as can’t be arsed to pack tonight, lets do it in the morning) and arrived at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains for a picnic lunch around midday.
Echo Point was slightly warmer than last time we were here (July) and I managed to get some better photos since the spring light seems to have made things a bit clearer.
The lookout is a place of great beauty and serenity, until the Japanese tourists arrive, that is, when it’s transformed into a place of shrieking and high-pitched laughing; irritating beyond belief.
