Crocodile Dundee

I thought I ought to add that we watched Crocodile Dundee on DVD last night and were whooping about the living room shouting out all the places we recognised.

If you're familiar with the film, when he first climbs to the top of the escarpment and looks across the land, that's the view from the top of Ubirr rock (and I could even see the lump of rock I'd been sitting on when I was taking the photos of "sunset over the wetlands").

Then they go to Anbangbang Billabong (in the bit where the bird defiantly goes off alone), and finally he goes spear fishing in the lake at Wangi Falls.

Crocodile Dundee country. Been there, done that.
