Inevitably, Sea World are more than happy to part you from your hard earned dollars. I reckoned up that, with admission, dolphin experiences and the sale of food and other stuff, they probably had the best part of $500 out of us today. And Ella got in for free.
Still, what an amazing experience. The dolphins were warm and smooth and very, very playful. Darren did the "swimming with Dolphins" while I stuck to the tamer version. I forget what it was called, but something along the lines of "paddling about with dolphins for jessies but we still need you to wear all the gear in case you fall over".
Anyway, I'm surprised to add that we both agreed that mine was the better of the two, I seemed to get much more hands-on time with the dolphins. It was going dark by the time Darren did his, hence the sunny photos are mainly of me.
