England vs. Australia Part VII

The legendary moustacheod cricketer Merv "The Swerve" Hughes greeting you every morning from your box of Kellogg's All Bran. Memories of the 1989 Ashes series, Steve Waugh, Allan Border and Robin Smith's maiden test century (he signed my ticket). Johnners in the commentary box and Fred Trueman carping "line and length". Beefy still threatening to hit the ball onto Warwick Road station.

If you rememeber it too, I'm smiling for you.

England 4, Australia 5

He looks like an ageing Ron Jeremy.

Don't think he's changed a bit, not sure who i'd want on my cereal box, but a bit of Darren wouldn't go a miss.

on your cereal box?

No, you're mistaking him for someone who does mornings. He wakes up looking like an ungroomed King Kong most days.

Not your Darren, Darren Gough! Do you not remeber my heart palpitations. sorry for the confusion.

What I remember is taking you to sit on the members' pavillion at Old Trafford, and rain stopping play all day.

And I remember you "beguiling" my fellow members with loud shreiks everytime Darren Gough was mentioned (usually by you!).

Oh yes and I remember something about some bloke and you went round to his house and he pretended to be out and hid behind the net curtains. What was all that about?
