The return journey to Cairns was just as bad and the children and Japanese tourists were just as sick (I'm assuming the latter have some sort of aversion to medication - if you ever saw Clive James' take on their TV show Endurance you might see the connection).
Anyway, feet back on dry land, we bought Nemo, which brought a smile to Ella's otherwise pale face. And then we walked over to the esplanade and listened to the rainbow lorikeets, who go absoulutely crazy about sunset, squarking passionately and swooping from tree to tree in huge numbers. Quite a welcoming committee really.
