Our first stop is the little village of Leura, which teeters on the edge of the Jamieson valley, along the Blue Mountains scenic cliff drive.
It's a nice little village, you know the sort; tea shops and shops selling full-length nighties in french lace. The sort of shops you feel your nerves jangling on edge the minute you enter with a pushchair, or worse still, a toddler no longer stapped into one.
Anyway, the yulefest celebration is in full swing so the Christmas shops are doing a roaring trade and Ella took every opportunity to shake things and poke things and look generally menacing until we eventually removed her for her own safety and moved on somewhere a little less fragile.
