Hungry Camel

City Farm is now a working farm covering 500 acres of land at Abbotsbury, which is about halfway to the Blue Mountains. They farm Merino sheep, cows, pigs and chickens and they shear the sheep for wool on a commercial basis.

So we rode on the tractor and saw the emus and then fed the camel, who was hungrier than I thought because he insisted on eating the paper bag as well as the feed.

The third photo shows the view back to the city, which seems to rise from nowhere like a giant game of tetris. If you click to enlarge you can probably make out the arch of the harbour bridge to the left of the sky scrapers.
